Despite being one of the best named horses going around at present (how did they let that one slip through!) Boncoeur also has his fair share of ability. Was strong at the finish 1st up and the step up to 1250 metres is ideal. Very little speed in this race so he should be able to position handy and get the right run in transit.

Hotel Casino struggled when raced on the tempo last time out, admittedly against useful types of the ilk of Innings, so should go better if ridden a touch more conservatively. Gets in OK with 57kgs and has demonstrated at previous campaigns that he’s got more than his fair share of ability.

Humma was noticeable running home late 1st up over an unsuitable distance so he should appreciate the step up to 1250 metres here. May get awkwardly placed in the run if the tempo is slow and his best may still be to come this preparation. Overall record of 2 wins from 20 doesn’t inspire confidence in him winning but he’s definitely capable of running into the minor places

Very open race here with plenty with legitimate claims, but gone for Beehives on top.....found the engimatic Le Bron too good for him last start when he was trapped wide early. Tricky barrier could have him enduring a similar wide run here, but can overcome this.

Boncoeur w as excellent in defeat first-up at Rosehill when he found the line well after settling midfield. Should improve nicely into this, drops weight and drawn ideally here.

Delago Star will probably find this too short, but does go extra well first-up and has trilled very well for this. He will be rattling home late.
