Poetic Genius was pretty handy in open class over this track and distance last time out and from the good barrier draw should be able to replicate that effort here. Likely strong tempo should suit.

Joey Jo Jo looked as if she’d be right in the finish in the same race however, just peaked on her run. Not entirely convinced she’s at her best on affected ground however, they’ve smartly used a claiming apprentice here and they can either lead or take the box seat from the good alley which will give her every possible chance.

Ready to Impress was only fair first up however, the step up in distance will be of benefit and she’ll be working home strongly if the pace is on early.

Summer Daze got checked as she was really hitting her straps last start and the quick back-up is a good sign. Is a Canterbury specialist as well as loving the slop. Good chance with the claim at good odds.

Park Esteem was only run down very late last time and does go well at this track. Loves it wet, has drawn perfectly and should be there at the finish.

Poetic Genius was quite good last time out and this is no harder than that.
