Rockwood comes out of what may be one of the best form races going around at present, where last start he was just touched off on the line by Dealer Principal and got the better of Imvula. Both horses were very impressive in an open age mile race last weekend. He previously posted a victory at this track and has good early speed so should settle just in behind the leaders in this. Great each way bet.

Camarilla at her best would absolutely flog these and she’s been gradually improving at each of her runs this time in. She’s likely to drop out the back here and be saved for the last crack at them. Has an obvious winning chance however, short odds and the fact she’s being set for the Oaks in 4 weeks time mean she’s worth taking on.

Our Mosstique was far from disgraced when beaten just over 4 lengths in the Weight For Age Chipping Norton stakes. At his previous start he belted Road to Rock who also fronts up in this event. Will be in the firing line the whole way.

Acey Ducey was very stiff not to win last time and will be competitive and Wind Shear may go around over the odds and he’s far from the worst given he has a last start 2nd in Magic Millions race and is a Sandown Guineas placegetter.

A fairly ordinary field for a Group 2 race for 3YOs, but looking to the following to run well:

5 - Acey Ducey

9 - Camarilla

4 - Wind Shear

Acey Ducey just failed to pick up the very smary Rio Osa last start. Looks comparatively well in at the weights and is in good form. Should go very close.

Camarilla ran a much improved race last start and was really starting to motor home late on after easing off heels on the turn. Expect her to be very competitive.

Wind Shear has been racing consistently this time in and ran home well last start. The extra distance looks like it will suit.
