Wasted Emotions is a talented but injury plagued sprinter. Has had a freshen up since last start effort when possibly didn’t handle the wet track. Has good speed early in his race and is very well treated only 0.5kgs over the minimum. Very tough to beat if he’s right.

Spinner’s Magic is a quality mare with an impressive overall record. Tuned up for this with recent trial. May find the 1100 metres just a touch short but too good to dismiss.

Al Be Nimble has a near faultless first up record and ran some nice races last campaign, specifically over this distance. Going to need a lot of luck from barrier 12.

King Rex drops back significantly in grade and can run well and whilst Certain Magic may need the run, he’s on the limit so can show up.

Al Be Nimble looks a very good horse in the making and if brings his A-game first-up from the spell he should win this.

Wasted Emotions was good behind the smart Fritz's Princess last start and won prior to that. Has been freshened for this and is unbeaten when fresh. Set for this and is a big Big Chance.

Bromide is an underrated fella. Does mix his form abit, but cannot fault his form this preparation. Got more than his fair share of weight, but is race fit and should be in the mix come the finish.
