Fastest Dash produced an impressive first up effort down the Flemington straight a fortnight ago and should be primed for this event with the extra fitness edge. Has a brilliant burst of acceleration when she gets the breaks. There looks to be hot speed in this so if she can settle off the pace with cover, she may finish too strongly for her rivals.

Smile of Desire returns from a break here and did show enough ability prior to going for a spell to suggest she’s capable of running a good race here. She’s another who will be suited by a decent tempo up front.

Gold Chant drops back significantly in grade from her top run in black type Sydney fillies’ race. Has drawn an horrendous barrier here however, claiming apprentice means she’ll still press forward and be in it for a long way.

Avelon Royale was very game in defeat last start when the jockey went for home too early. Back to the 1100m looks to suit perfectly and should run well.

Magic Melbourne demolished them in Ballarat last start being eased down in a fast time. If she replicates that run here she will measure up.

Fastest Dash was very impressive first-up and can only improve out of that race. Will settle back and have last crack at them.
