Caulfield - 20 October 2007

Race 1-FAT QUADDIES CUP 2000 METRES 11.30 A.M.

Big O’s Oracle

7 – Try This
1 – Class Apart
3 – Cluny

Going with the valley race from a week ago as the form reference for this race, and with the turn in the weights, Try This represents a good each way bet.  Should be strong at the end of the 2000m and was pushed wide last time out.

Class Apart was just nailed on the line last time and can atone here.  McEvoy goes on top and weight shouldn’t be too much of a burden.

Cluny flew late to get up last start and no reason why she can’t be in the finish again.

Big watch on Arapaho Miss here who displays some talent.

Shaggy's Selections

Tough little race to kick off proceedings on Caulfield Cup Day.

4 - Arapaho Miss

7 - Try This

3 - Cluny

Arapaho Miss didn't beat mch last start, but did it easily. Ran home strongly before that from the outside barrier. Drawn poorly again here, but should runwell.

Try This never stopped giving behind Cluny & Class Apart last start. Meets them both better at the weights this time and can turn the tables.

Cluny won well last start and will get the run of the race from barrier 4. Chance to snag back to back wins.
