Coniston Gem’s first up effort was solid when she chased home the in form La Chasseuse (who lines up in the Oakleigh Plate). Unbeaten 2nd up and should be able to work over from wide gate and get a pretty soft run. Only real query is if the rain comes as she hasn’t started on any surface worse than good however, she is out of a Gold Carat mare and they generally handle give in the track.

Mondano is an honest handicapper who has run some handy races at this track previously. Goes around on the limit weight and there’s not many genuine chances in the race so he’ll be good odds for your exotics.

Thin and Crispy returned from a long break and was good enough first up. Bound to keep improving the more runs he has this campaign however, good 2nd up record means he stays under notice here.

Montechoro was one of the improvers of the Spring, has a reasonable record fresh and over the distance and this isn't choc full of talent.

Coniston Gem was excellent first-up when just failed to get the money. Well suited here and should be in the finish again.

Mind Your Head has a stack of class and was good reasonable first-up. Sure to derive benefit from that run and should go well here.
