Fastest Dash has come back a vastly different horse this campaign and her first two runs back have been extremely eye catching. Flew home from a hopeless position first up to run 3rd and absolutely smashed rivals last time when extending margin on line. Steps up a grade here but looks like a horse going places.
La Goulue had to chase home Vivacious Spirit last time and didn’t shirk her task. That form reads well and from barrier 1 she is capable of jumping and controlling the race which should assist her in running out the 1400 metres at her first try at the trip.
Bird of Fire was courageous last time when covered a stack of ground first up against open fillies and mares grade and was right in the finish. Drawn well to run a forward race again here and rise in distance to 1400 metres suits perfectly.
Patasi didn’t have the best of luck first up and has shown promise in her limited career to date. Midnight Blues has been running well in weaker grade and isn’t without a hope of filling a place.

Bird of Fire was trapped wide last start, but fought on well and was pretty unlucky in the end. If that run can be replicated here then will be tough to beat.
La Goulue was really good last start behind a pretty smart horse and is drawn to get a charmed run in this. Big chance.
Cascade Now should go forward and make its own luck. Is race fit and will probably be left alone in the lead will prove tough to run down.
