WHAT DO I WIN?

WHAT IS THE COMPETITION?
This competition requires that over the 6 Week Spring Carnival period, you select one horse in each of the Group Races in Metropolitan Melbourne who you believe is an each way chance.

 

In each of these races your selection will have the following assumed Mug Punting each way bet credited to it:

 

Group 1 Races: $50 each way
Group 2 Races: $30 each way
Group 3 Races: $20 each way

 

After the races have been run and won the Mug Punting team will award your "bet" on IAS Super Price dividends

 

For example, let’s say you selected Kibbutz in the 2007 Derby, you would have been awarded 320 points made up of 230 (50 x $4.80) for the win dividend + 90 (50 x $1.80) for the place dividend.

If you selected Littorio you would have been awarded 125 for the place dividend.

 

The winner is the individual that has accumulated the most points at the end of the Competition (at the end of racing on November 8th).

 

The Mug Punting Team will post the leaderboard and best performed tipsters on the website each Monday.

HOW DO I ENTER?

 

 

 

Remember it is absolutely FREE to enter.

 

The Competition will close to ALL new entrants at the end of Week 2.

 

 

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY TIPS?
Once you have registered and the competition commences each Friday we will email you the weekly entry form/link containing the races for the week.

 

Your job is to select your horse for each race no later than 11am on the Saturday of the race.

 

If a horse you select is subsequently a late scratching from a race your selection will default to the bottom numbered runner of the relevant race.

 

As you can see there is quite an incentive to submit your tips.
