The Fuzz finally broke through for his first win this campaign when drew away from his opposition in the Geelong Cup.  Still well treated at the weights and drawn to get a cushy run.

 

Desert Master has slowly been building up to some form and last start 3rd behind The Fuzz was good.  Will appreciate any sting out of the track and would be top pick if track were to become a bog.

 

Zavite has been brave in defeat his last two starts against quality horses and should be able to cross over from his wide alley here to control the race.  Doesn’t want the ground too wet though as best form on dry tracks.

Pacino flew home from well back in the Coongy where being ridden "cold" really brought the best out of him. The step up to 2500m suits and if he gets in he looms as a genuine lightweight threat in the Melbourne Cup.

 

Sentire was held up behind Gallic last week when looking like fighting out the finish, still got home well and this looks like suiting.

 

The Fuzz was ultra impressive winning the Geelong Cup, had all the favours, but still won easily going away. Drawn to get the same run and could repeat the dose.
