Molotov is a distance specialist having run no worse than 4th in his 5 attempts at this trip. Comes in very nicely at the weights considering his recent weight carrying efforts and does race well here.
Arbitration should provide some competition here at good each way odds. Has been up for a while but ran well last start when had to cover extra ground and much better placed in this event.
Cargo Cult ran a career best effort last time when 2nd at Weight For Age and continues to hold his form despite a long preparation. A mile is probably just as far as he gets so will need to time his run.
Orange County was an incredible run last week to win coming from a seemingly impossible position at the home turn. If he backs up he’ll be well and truly in the mix. Valedictum is slowly getting to peak fitness and has shown an ability to back up with a week between runs before. You may recall he won an Emirates Stakes over this track and distance.

Orange County was very good in running down Gotta Have Heart last week. Loves Flemington and while he doesn't go as well over 1600m will be running home late.
Molotov was flying home at WFA level behind Niconero last time. Drops weights into this and this is a much easier field. Goes super well over this distance and looks to be placed perfectly.
Barlinnie went to Sandown for an easy kill last start, before that was very good behind Seafarer. Has a good record over the distance and the rock hard track will assist and gives the impression that the Flemington expanses should suit him.
