Hanna Rossa has one thing that most, if not all, of her rivals lack here and that’s class. Back to the ride grade here after running against the open class sprinters last time and comes in well at the weights after the claim for Logan McGill. There would appear to be some good speed up front here with the likes of Fidemus and Jacqueline Rouge engaged which will allow her to run home if saved for the one sprint.
Love You Sometime has been beaten at her two runs this campaign however, has been very strong on the line and looks ideally suited with the step up to the 1400 metres. Perfect barrier to settle handy and she could be off and gone in the straight if Hanna Rossa has any difficulty getting clear running.
Fidemus probably isn’t running quite at her top at present however, she’ll be in this for a long way here. Should ping straight to the front, bowl along and with only 50 kgs or thereabouts on her back after the apprentice’s claim, she’ll give you a big sight.
Kindrate’s win last Saturday was probably partially attributable to the way the track was racing however, it was still extremely dominant. She does prefer the wet tracks however, she’s an improving type who will improve again as she goes up in distance. Goldfield Ashes is a very costly conveyance who is always thereabouts however, can’t be backed with any real confidence.. if she does actually turn up and remember where the finishing post is she could easily win though.

Fidemus is in reasonable form, but is carrying a fly weight with the Gundog's claim. Does have a touch of class and the 50kg on the back really brings her into calculations.
Soul Diva is first-up after almost 18 months in the paddock. Had excellent form prior to the big spell and has the class to win this if she comes back the same horse.
Love You Sometime is up in class, but does have a bit of potential about her. Good record over the distance and expect a better showing on a drier track.
