Dismissal is a more than competent city class performer who has been in the hands of Daren Weir for the past year after being transferred from the John Hawkes stable. Didn’t have a lot of luck in the straight last time out behind Threedee and this is his pet trip. Should be able to come down the outside fence from his barrier and did run a nice 3rd down the straight in a useful sprint race on cup day last year.

Threedee simply thrashed his rivals last time out and probably should have won by further after being held up to the 200 metre mark. Drops in weight after the claim and this field is no stronger than what he faced last time, so he’ll be a serious threat again. Slight query on whether he’s now looking for 1400 metres at this stage of his preparation.

Stavka was a one time boom sprint prospect a couple of years ago before succumbing to injury. Resumed after nearly 2 years with a huge win in the country when sprinted home from well back. They generally find it tough to back it up 2nd up from a long break however, if he’s anywhere near the shape he was in prior to his long lay off, he’ll give this a massive shake.

Chances also to Bowhunter who won well down the straight last time out and has had a little freshen up and Red Power who’s saddle shifted around the valley last time out explaining the disappointing effort and could start over the odds.

Sensational Toy found the line strongly last start at Sandown and drops a stack of weight into this (5.5kg). Drawn to slot onto the outside fence and will be the one running on late.

Threedee has come back into some of his best form and simply thrashed them last start around the Valley. This is really no harder, however the tricky barrier if Dean Holland brings him to the Grandstand side.

Bingham has been racing well this campaign including tracking Threedee to the line 2 starts back. That form should stack up well into this and does go extra well at this distance.
