Flemington - 6 October 2007

Race 2-SUPER IMPOSE STAKES 1800 METRES 12.25 P.M.

Big O’s Oracle

13 – Bammagera
1 – Down Under Boy
2 – The Original

Bammagera has been taken along very quietly this campaign and has run two very nice races out of town, and has worked home really well at both suggesting the extra distance won’t be a problem.  Slightly tricky barrier but Newitt on board helps.

Down Under Boy hasn’t done a lot this campaign but drops significantly in class and is advantaged by the set weights conditions of this race, so can improve sharply today.

The Original was a most impressive winner last start when he finally put it all together, and has good juvenile form around the likes of Down Under Boy.

Jabal Tarik has been winning well at the provincials however, wide barrier is of some concern here.

Shaggy's Selections

1 - Down Under Boy

13 - Bammagera

12 - Villain

Down Under Boy has finally drawn an inside barrier, should get a nice run from there and has a class edge on most of these runners. Query at the 1800m, but so are alot of them.

Bammagera has been racing well in the country and looks a nice little horse in the making. Not much depth in this and sure to make it's presence felt.

Villian ran very well last start in a decent country field. Looks like the 1800m will suit it down to the ground and will be hard to hold out.
