Keep coming back to Vormista here and is impossible to knock after almost rolling Gold Edition last start at Weight For Age, so with the drop back to 53kgs and in class she picks herself.  Don’t take ridiculously short odds though as she does have a tough barrier to overcome in what will be a muddling sort of race.

 

Like It Is ran a shocker first up however, has always put it together 2nd up with 3 wins from 3 tries.  Has won races of similar class to this which is more than can be said for most of the field and can see her working over to get a nice run in the race.

 

Bellini Rose has the right form to win the race, running 3rd to Devil Moon and Eskimo Queen two starts back.  Another who has a tricky barrier to overcome however, she will be right in the finish.

 

Last start winner Maloose must also be respected here, as should Hidden Strings who is racing well but drop back in distance may not be ideal.

Vormista ran a cracker of a race last start, running Gold Edition to a length. Based on the way she found the line, the 1400m should pose no problem. Will be tough to hold out.

 

Hidden Strings has been racing very honestly and will probably go forward and lead here. If she is allowed to dictate terms out in front she is going to be very hard to run down with the 53kg on her back. Set for this race.

 

Evilweb may as well have not even gone around last start where she was severely hampered in getting a run. The effort before that was good and this suits her.

 

Keep an eye out for Surfside Christmas to be motoring home.
