Race 5-LET'S ELOPE STAKES 1400 METRES 02.45 P.M.

 

Big O’s Oracle

 

4 – Devil Moon
5 – Gawne
7 – Juste Momente

 

She’s drawn the outside gate, but if they can work over just in behind the speed, Devil Moon is a strong chance in this.  Was a massive run first up when in the car park the whole way and only beaten 2.5 lengths by Storm Signal.  Came along leaps and bounds last preparation and has a touch of class.  Shrewd trainer also.

 

Gawne doesn’t usually fire first up, but happy to tip her to run well as she generally faces better opposition than this and had a nice weight and barrier.

 

Juste Momente was ridden a treat first up for 3rd however, will need more luck this time around.  Has good form over the trip (4th – Miss Finland last spring) and is looking for the big track at Flemington.  Should be coming home hard.

10 - Bellini Rose

2 - Permaiscuous

8 - Cancanelle

 

Bellini Rose is well above average and although she will need some luck from the wide draw might be just too good.

 

Permaiscuous is horribly out of form, but does go well at this distance and at Flemington. Taking only on trust.

 

Cancanelle rattled home when resuming and is very consistent, comes out of the same form race as Bellini Rose and was only slightly less impressive.
