Moonee Valley – 15 September 2007

Race 1-VEOLIA ENVIRONMENTAL HANDICAP 1509 METRES 12.05 P.M.

Big O’s Oracle

14 – Pillar of Hercules
2 – Down Under Boy

6 - Murjana

Pillar of Hercules drops back in class from good run in the McNeil Stakes and stable does have a fair opinion of him.  Gets in on the minimum weight as well.

Down Under Boy was also good in the McNeil and will appreciate the step up in distance and weaker class of opposition.

Murjana has been racing well and will get a nice run from the barrier.

Shaggy's Selections

9 - Gran Sasso
1 – Extension of Time

14 - Pillar of Hercules

Gran Sasso flogged them in Bendigo last start and Mayfield-Smith wouldn't be wasting his time if he didn't think this horse was up to this class.

Extension of Time went too quickly last start and may be able to get a nice run in transit in this. Goes well with the sting out of the ground and will be hard to beat.

Pillar of Hercules is down in class and down in weight. Will run well.
