MONEY MAKERS
MELBOURNE
We Wonder
Useful off season middle distance horse who worked a bit early and stuck on OK.
Sensational Toy
Kept on finding the line in the straight against the boys. Hard to beat back to mares’ grade and handles all conditions.
Frisco Jess
Bolter who raced wide and was very brave in the straight in black type mares’ race. Will appreciate drop in grade next time out.
SYDNEY
Togha
Only beaten by Coniston Bluebird who’s pretty useful on his day – won’t be maiden much longer.
My Sweet Cookie
Has a barnstorming finish on him and the decision to geld him may pay dividends.
Theophorus
Not sure they can keep him going until the Villiers however, he has been particularly impressive at his last two starts and could develop into a Group horse in the Autumn.
Something Anything
Good return from a spell – 1400 metres on a track with some give is his go.
Grand Cause
Progressive type who closed late in the 1200 metre welter. Fitter for the run and has a bit scope about him.
MONEY MUNCHERS
MELBOURNE
Starfish
Unfortunately for the owners this is one case of good breeding not translating into racetrack ability.
Double Dare
Back to Sydney you go.
Friday Creek
Had the perfect run and never seriously looked like winning.
SYDNEY
Mazuka
Pretty ordinary after soft run on Saturday.
Shaketheground
Had it easy in front again and found the others better. Starts too short for ours.
German Chocolate
Shizen Hausen!
