Denman
Very impressive youngster from the Snowden camp who annihilated his opposition in a speedy 1:03.4 for the 1100 metres.  Interesting quandary for the stable – do they tip him out for a spell to prepare for the spring or keep racing him?

 

Manden
Made up good ground for 4th behind Take the Rap.  Will continue to improve with racing no doubt.

 

Red Buttons
Will be perceived as letting punters down by being beaten after having a soft run in front however, he was 2nd up over 2000 metres and you will make more money than you lose if you continue to follow him this preparation.

 

O’Reillys Clock
Has taken ages to find his true form this preparation however, he might finally be getting there on the basis of his fast finishing 3rd in the final heat of the Vic Championship.  Put him over a mile on a wet track and he should get back into the winner’s circle.

 

Soul Diva
Good middle distance mare who was held up for a fair part of the straight in Vic Championship heat and hit the line full of running.

 

Flushing Meadows
NSW sprinter who was making up plenty of ground – good 1000 metre sprinter who appreciated solid pace.

 

 

SYDNEY

 

Sainthood
Youngster who ran on nicely behind potential top liner Skytrain.  Could have a future of his own.

 

 

MONEY MUNCHERS

Arenti
Has done nothing much since debuting in Melbourne 4 starts back.

 

Threedee
Seems to have lost a few lengths since previous campaigns.  Notoriously competitive horse who is just not putting in at present.

 

Immortality
Would normally be pretty close up in a 1000 metre sprint at Flemington but appears to be losing his edge – being a stallion his mind may be on other things.

Very one dimensional.

 

Gunna Happen
Generally consistent horse who has been very flat at his past two runs.
