MUG PUNTING OFF TO A FLYING START!

The script went very much according to plan for the 1st week of MugPunting with some great results in both Melbourne and Sydney on Saturday.

Big O’s oracle managed to land 4 winners in Melbourne (Sun Glazed W$7.70, Mind Your Head W$3.40, Miss Andretti W$1.60 and Anamato W$4.20) as well as 20/1 winner Doubting in the Triscay Stakes in Sydney.

If you followed Shaggy’s tips in Sydney you would have also found the quaddie not hard to come by as he had the winner of each race of the quaddie legs in his top 3 selections and the quaddie paid $6,140 in Victoria!  Both Shaggy and our Money Makers section nominated 50/1 bolter Any Suggestion as one to follow and it ran a fantastic 2nd to Miss Andretti.

Our free speed maps were also on the mark with a number of key predictions coming to fruition:

  • Race 1 Melbourne – Anticipated Sun Glazed would get a comfortable lead.
  • Race 2 Melbourne – Predicted the fast tempo, which proved to be I got Chills’ undoing (pity we couldn’t find the winner)
  • Race 4 Melbourne – On the money with the dawdling tempo becoming a reality
  • Race 7 Melbourne – Again got the tempo right, with the backmarkers dominating
  • Race 9 Melbourne – Predicted Fidemus would get a cheap lead which it did (pity the race wasn’t 1190 metres instead of 1200 or it would have got the chocolates!)
  • Race 6 Sydney – Despite the small field we tipped a fast tempo with Lady Viv engaged which enabled Silky Red Boxer to break the race record (well, the fast tempo and that horse’s ridiculous level of ability for a 7 year old!)
  • Race 7 Sydney – Again on the money when predicted a clear lead for Desert War in the running which turned out to be a winning factor.
  • Race 8 Sydney – Got it right again with the moderate tempo leaving a couple of runners caught wide and the best runs were from those who had the cosier runs in transit.

Even if you’re not going to be a massive fan of following our tips (and let’s face it, law of averages would suggest we can’t get it right like we did every week), our speed maps give you a crystal ball analysis of where your preferred chances are likely to be in the run and whether their fortune bodes well or the future is bleak.

Oh… and did we forget to mention that these are all provided FREE!  Where else could you possibly get this much for nothing (well outside of the laughs you get from watching Family Guy episodes)??

Happy Punting and feel free to drop us a line in our feedback section
