Very open slipper field however, have had my eye on Sugar Babe for sometime and she appears to be primed to run a big race.

Narrowly touched off last Saturday however, was ridden against her normal pattern. Should drift back midfield and barrier 11 shouldn’t pose too many concerns as they’ll probably be coming home down the centre of the track by this stage of the day. Handles wet and has a touch of class. Great each way bet.

Over the Wicket is the one that’s going to go round at silly odds and must be included in the chances. Tries his heart out every time and has form around the two favourites All American and Sebring whom he’s been beaten narrowly by. Perfect draw in barrier 7 and handles the soft going.

Sebring has been set for this race all along and whilst he’s 6 weeks in between runs, has had a recent barrier trial and Waterhouse will know what’s required to win the race with him. Another who has drawn well to settle just in behind the speed and will no doubt look the winner at some point.

Chances also to All American who looks to be a class act, Portillo who continues to slip under the radar and the undefeated Augusta Proud.

Krupt looked a good thing rounding up a handy field from wide out last time in a good time. Probably drawn ideally given the expected track conditions and should be finding plenty at the line.

I would have had Stripper on top if she hadn't had a set back this week, but sticking with her. Won well last start and was unlucky behind Sugar Babe before that on a slow track. A very big chance at juicy odds.

Portillo keeps slipping under the radar. Did very well in arriving just in time last week and could forgive the run before that as very unlucky. Concern that she is racing for the 3rd week in a row, but should go well.
