Hadaaf is an iron horse who seemingly never runs a bad race. Had a fair bit of weight to lump at Gosford last start so prepared to forgive the defeat and the 57.5kgs he’s got here is actually one of the lightest weights he’s carried in a while. Will roll forward and prove hard to run down in the straight.

Keepin’ the Dream is the smokey with the best chance of the outsiders. Good run 2nd up behind Rock Song and now steps up to his preferred distance range. Impressed with some nice runs behind Bianca in the Wyong and Newcastle Cups last preparation and is on the limit weight here.

Get Up Jude was only fair in the Chipping Norton first up however, is unbeaten 2nd up and this is a much easier assignment. Prefer him over a touch further but he’s good enough to run a place.

Kettledrum always runs on, but never seems to win. Can see the same thing happening here.

Aristocratico is up massively in class, but has been winning quite well in the lower grades and deserves his chance here. Down in weights, fit and in form so must rate a chance.
