Getting sucked in again to the perennially well weighted Miss Octopussy. On previous form she should win here as she’s Group 1 placed and her past 3 runs were essentially faultless however, she hasn’t won for a long time and you just wonder whether she’s still got that killer punch. Should get a drag over with speedster Ravenous Lass so barrier not much of an issue but couldn’t say I’d be launching into her to win by the same token.
Star of Giselle has been disappointing her past two but will appreciate this class and can hopefully recapture some of her spring form. They may elect to ride her a bit closer to the speed her in an endeavour to have her better placed in the straight as she has simply been too far back in her past two runs.
Irish Dream goes around double figures here and she represents value for some each way action. Her form last time in was impeccable and her only bad run in her 8 starts was her last run before spelling which is perfectly forgivable. Form around Rue Maple and Booklet reads well (get it?..sorry, bad joke). Moody will no doubt have her primed for this and down on the limit she’s a big danger at odds.
Biancon Rose next best and potential for sting out of the track helps. Two Hills ran a blinder in this race last year behind Beaded and Varenna Miss and there was just a hint last start here that she may be on the way back.

Looking at a bit of value here with the race fit Two Hills here. Effort last start behind Avionics was excellent and has been consistently thereabouts all campaign in fairly strong races. Expect her to have a fitness edge over most of these, will certainly get the gun run and at 20-1 she represents great each way value.
Got a bit of time for Biancon Rose. First-up run under a big weight with an odd ride will only have her fitter for this. Dwayne Dunn on board is a HUGE bonus as well.
Miss Octopussy is extremely hard to catch and is first up after 2 and a bit months off the scene, but has oodles of class and is favoured by the weight scale here. Will go very close.
