Pureness is a Group 1 winner who resumes here with big weight but has acted fresh in the past and gets a soft run from the barrier. Won’t be far away in this grade.
Run for Levi will be monster odds and his past 7 runs have been utterly pathetic however, 12 months ago he was running places in the Stutt Stakes and Caulfield Guineas so spruiking that he may come back to something like that horse now having had a spell since racing over the Brisbane winter carnival. Comes in under the limit with the claim and if he’s anywhere near right, he’ll give this a shake at value.
