Black Prince returned to something near his best in the Lightning Stakes at Randwick when was gassed in front yet still looked the winner down the straight until picked up late by the talented News Alert. Very consistent horse when right and smart claim means he’s handily placed here. Should dictate terms in front and will be mighty hard to catch.
The Jackal is a gigantic horse with a huge stride who has an impeccable fresh record and will be motoring home here, despite the 60kgs on his back. Beat Black Prince when last in work and has a 50% winning strike rate at this track.
Kenny’s World found Allervite too nippy at Warwick Farm when resuming but did put a space on the rest of the field, with 5 lengths between he and the 3rd horse. Nicely weighted here and ready to improve 2nd up.

Kenny's World was alright first-up and has an outstanding record second up. Drawn perfectly and looks weighted to win this.
Posadas was dreadful on the heavy, but improved back onto the dry ground last time out. If he gets dry conditions again here he rates highly.
The Jackal is classy, but is carrying the grandstand in weight and is another who needs it firm. Races super when fresh.
