Rosehill Racing Tips: Race 7-BMW EFFICIENT DYNAMICS HANDICAP 2000 METRES 04.35 P.M.
Predicted Track: Slow/Heavy (Track @ Thursday: Slow. Weather –Showers). Rail:True.
Big O’s Oracle
2 – Tollemache
3 – Sir James
7 – La Belle Chataigne
Tollemache is on trial at this trip however, has been racing well in this grade and looks overdue for a win. Ran good sectionals when chasing home Readiness at Rosehill and has won on both the heavy and slow previously. Tim Bell’s claim brings him down to 55kgs on a 53kgs limit which sees him well in.
Sir James has been getting progressively better at every run and looked like he may score a win last start but just missed after being held up early in the straight. He’s the logical top pick given his recent form however, he’s shown on plenty of occasions previously that he is quite good at disappointing the punters and being unable to find the line when looming into a winning position. Will need some fairly decent tempo given he’ll go back from barrier 13 and best to monitor track conditions to see if they’re running on down the middle of the track, which is something they’ve found hard to do here in recent weeks.
La Belle Chataigne started over the odds here over 1800 metres last start and rewarded her followers with a strong win after kicking clear. Gets in light again here and drawn the fence so will be in the first half dozen runners. She’s a fairly promising mare on the up.
