Rosehill Racing Tips: Race 8-REDUCE YOUR CARBON HOOFPRINT HANDICAP 1100 METRES 05.15 P.M.
Predicted Track: Slow/Heavy (Track @ Thursday: Slow. Weather –Showers). Rail:True.
Big O’s Oracle
1 – Motspur
15 – Griffon
2 – Welkom Gold
Motspur won in commanding fashion this track/distance a fortnight back and hasn’t been overly punished at the weights for that win. Flies around this circuit and whilst a slightly better track would be preferred, he’s fit and in form and tends to go around over the odds. Each way all day.
Griffon resumes after over a year off and had a very soft kill at the Kensington track and managed to break the 1100 metre record in the process. 2nd up off a long break as we’ve mentioned before is always a query but he’s drawn an inside gate here so won’t be far away in running. Untried on wet.
Welkom Gold’s campaign was aborted after one ordinary run in November so has been freshened and recent trial may suggest he’s on the way back. Tough front runner at his best who’s got form around horses like New Alert so if they’ve got him back to his best, he could give a tonne of cheek here.
Malambo is a tease but he gets the wet track he’s been seeking all campaign and a win wouldn’t surprise. So Anyway is a very classy filly with some of the best 3 year old sprinting form going around – if they go mad in front, she could be steaming home late.
