Thumbs Up & Big Fist is where the Mug Punting team take a humourous look at what's hot and what's not from the weekend’s racing.
THUMBS UP
Caulfield Track
Raced like a dream with winners coming from all parts of the track. How all tracks should be at every meeting...forever. Thumbs Up grass growing fellas.
Lucky Secret
HUGE effort in the Starlight Stakes. Carrying 60kg and 7kg more than almost every runner including some very good horses and still won very bravely. Thumbs Up to horse and trainer.
Damien Oliver
Ride of the day on Red Lord.....still the best. Thumbs Up.
BIG FIST
Mug Punting continue with.....the Please Retire Mustard Foundation
9th in a pretty ordinary Class 86 handicap is a long way from winning the Group 3 Conchord Stakes in September 2006. Well 3 years to be exact...this poor old fella deserves a decent retirement. The campaign continues.
Noel Callow
Good to see the man back after the MP Team saw him scoffing sausage rolls at Caulfield less than 6 months ago....but the ride on Baughurst was a shocker. Life Noel, lift...because we love your winning post antics.
