Updated weekly, our Money Makers & Money Munchers service gives you a detailed list of horses that are going places in the near future and those that will turn punters into paupers.
MONEY MAKERS
Melbourne
Speedy Natalie
Has been plagued by bad luck at her past few starts since dominant debut win, so she decided to make her own luck and make an early move around the outside and she hung on really strongly when classy filly Aloha tried to chase her down. Stick with her for the Kewney in 3 weeks.
Linton
3rd career start and he demolishes the Alister Clarke field. What was more impressive was that he had to come from well back off a slow tempo and still thrashed them.
Princess Marizza
Good to see this mare back in form after all the troubles she’s had. Group 2 or 3 standard at her best and only beaten by the sheer quality of Zarita on Saturday. There will be a mares race for her shortly.
Sydney
Georgette Silk
Nice turn of foot from this Flying Spur filly who won easy on debut. Her sectionals and overall time compared favourably with the open class races on the day.
Mr Clangtastic
Mudlark who resumed with a nice 3rd with big weight over a mile. Will come into his own on the slop over 2000 – 2400 metres.
More Joyous
Everybody was talking her down after a couple of flat trials but she put the critics back in their box with an easy win running 1:09.8 on a slow track over 1200 metres. One of the best fillies Gai’s ever had.
MONEY MUNCHERS
Melbourne
Miss O’Brien
Past couple have been very ordinary.
Rolling Stock
Had enough this preparation.
Spontaneous
Limited.
Sydney
Bejewelled
Struggled again even with preferred wet track so probably outclassed at this level.
